Not often do I have the opportunity to write a FIVE STAR REVIEW, but in this case, it warrants it. Designing and Building your own home is special. Literally, we know every square inch from the bottom to the top and inside to the exterior and pool of our home. We also take great pride in maintaining our home and over the years we have "touched" it up from time to time, but until these last two major hurricanes came rushing through Ocala, have we had to make any significant improvements. Repairing and replacing the roof is a major project. The first thing we did was review local contractor Websites to select three or four to make the initial contact. Particularily we wanted an Ocala based family operated contractor with a proven track record. Ocala Roofing fit the bill along with others. We obtained three bids for the job, checked each contractors background, and asked each of them to provide us with a minimum of two homes recently completed to review. Once again, Ocala Roofing was the clear choice. After meeting with Wayne, Jennifer, and their son, it was a hands down easy decision to select once again, Ocala Roofing. They told in advance excactly what we were going to get, and they delivered on all fronts. Selecting the right color was critically important, and after two or three times coming to the house to show us samples we made our choice. Weather permitting they told us how long the job would take, and they were able to deliver it exactly as stated. The cleanup program was absolutly perfect. I was fasinated when they begain sweeping the lawn and driveway with magnets to make sure there were no nails left around, I was sure we had made the right decision. As you might expect, there were a few spots of tar left to remove to tidy up the job, but they removed every speck of dirt and debris generated by the workers. We could not have been happier with the effort and direction they put into making this project come out PERFECT. Ocala Roofing did such a beautiful job on my roof that neighbors walking by compliment it, asking who did the work. Everything was done in an efficient, professional manner. I had a Great experience with Ocala Roofing Co. After having other estimates done I chose Ocala Roofing to put a new roof on my home.The roof was scheduled and finished quickly. It was a pleasure working with Austin and Alanna as well as a meet and greet with the owner Mr. Wayne. The clean-up was great afterwards to finish the job. Ocala Roofing I highly recommend Ocala Roofing for all your roofing needs. I recently bought a house that was built in the 1950’s and has had 4 separate additions attached to it at different times. Needless to say, the roof has turned into a mess. Ocala Roofing replaced 15 sheets of rotten plywood and a couple hundred feet of fascia board, fixed all leaks, and made the roof secure and look great! Having been in the construction business years ago, I know this endeavor took not only roofing skills, but an in-depth knowledge of how to best approach and complete this job. There were no delays, the crew was on the job everyday, and the house was secured daily against the rain. Wayne even sent his crew out on a Saturday to make sure that everything was done right. Price was more than fair and the finished product was above and beyond what I expected. A special thanks to Alanna, who was always very friendly and on top of everything in the office!
